Bonthaina fausti Heller, 1900: 21 View in CoL . Type locality: SW Sulawesi, Mt. Lompobatang .

Description. Holotype ( Fig. 9a View FIGURE 9 ). Length. Pronotum plus elytron 4.20 mm. Integument ferruginous; elytra dorsally with darker band curving from side of basal third along suture to apex; appressed scales transparent, some greyish and distinctly microgranulate. Head with sulcus separating rostral base subangulate. Eyes evenly convex. Rostrum shorter than wide (0.84 X), sides slightly converging; dorsum weakly swollen. Pronotum 1.04 X longer than wide; punctate. Elytra subovate 1.41 X as long as wide; dorsally weakly convex; intervals with scattered granules each bearing a long, erect seta; near declivity with indistinct calli. Genitalia. Material examined. Holotype, by monotypy, female: INDONESIA, S-Sulawesi: Mt. Lompobatang , IX-X.1898, leg. Drs. Sarasin; labels ( Fig. 9c View FIGURE 9 ); condition: fair, formerly pinned through right elytron; genitalia in glycerol in microtube; DNA extraction ARC4031 View Materials (GenBank # OR557446) ( SMTD).
