Replaced synonym: Polystichum deltodon (Baker) Diels var. henryi Christ (1905: 27) . Type :— CHINA. Yunnan: Mengzi County, A. Henry 10346 (lectotype E!, isolectotype PE!, here designated) .
When this taxon is raised to specific rank, the original varietal epithet “ henryi ” is blocked by Polystichum henryi Christ (1909: 36) .
This species occurs in southeastern Yunnan, China.
