Diagnosis
Parafacial bare, at most with 3-4 hairs below lowest frontal seta. Ocelli whitish-yellow. Pedicel and basal half of postpedicel yellow, aristal hairs at least more than diameter of aristal base. Palpi reddish-yellow. Thoracic scutum with grey pruinosity, 3 postsutural dorsocentral setae, 2 katepisternal setae. Lower calyptrae divergent from scutellum, basicosta of wing dark brown, legs black. Abdomen black, mid-dorsal excavation of syntergite 1+2 extending or nearly to its posterior margin, with a pair of lateral marginal setae, without median marginal seta, 3rd and 4th tergites without median discal seta in both sexes.
