Male genitalia ( Fig. 56). Uncus short, broad, rounded terminally, narrowed basally; socius minute; arm of gnathos slender, terminal plate small; valva moderately large, tapered terminad; sacculus simple, slender; transtilla consists of pair slender, thorny labides; aedeagus slender, tapered in distal third ventroterminally; coecum of aedoeagus and caulis moderate, vesica with a complicated structure of cornuti: two thin, curved and long plates with strongly sclerotized lateral edges.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 93). Sterigma short, proximal edge of anteostial plate well sclerotized fused with antrum; postostial sterigma short followed by scobinate area; antrum tubular, uniformly broad, distinctly sclerotized; ringlike sclerite proximal to antrum present; signum with slender blade and large capitulum.

Remarks. Described from 5 specimens of which the male lectotype and 2 female paralectotypes are in the collection of RMCA. The lectotype was selected by Aarvik in 1998 but was not published until the present paper. Externally closely similar to C. brachyptycta (see above), and Meyrick partly mixed the two in the type series. In the male genitalia C. enochlodes differs from C. brachyptycta mainly by the presence of numerous thorns on the labides—in C. brachyptycta the labides each have two long spines—and by the presence of four long cornuti in the aedeagus—in C. brachyptycta the aedeagus has numerous short cornuti.
