Ceropteraaharonii Duda, 1938: 64. Syntypes’ locality: Israel, Rehobothnr. Jaffa (SMNS).

Materialstudied: 1 female ( HNHM): “Jebalya 19. VII. 72” [ Palestine, Gaza : Jibaliya,

31.5310°N 34.4797°E, probably 1972], [illegible, probablythenameofthecollector].

This species was not mentioned in PAPP and RohÁček (1988). It was describedonthebaseofamaleandafemalesyntypepreservedintheStuttgart Museum. Although I am quite sure of the identity of the above specimen, the hand-writtenlabelishardlyreadable.

Thespeciesisrelatedto C. alluaudi ( Villeneuve, 1917) View in CoL , itsdistinctivechar- actersaresummarisedinthekey.
