Redescription. Body robust, clothed with greyish yellow pubescence, more so than in O. indianus and O. anogeissi , with fewer spots and patches of pubescence ( Fig. 1Q, T View Fig ); vertex broad, densely pubescent, without spots and patches ( Fig. 1U View Fig ); frons with dense, yellowish white pubescence; gena little longer than that of O. indianus and O. anogeissi ( Fig. 1V View Fig ); antenna 11-segmented, granulations on antennomere I similar to those on O. indianus in both the sexes, more granulations on male antenna than on female antenna ( Fig. 2F,G View Fig ), antennomere III warty, more than twice longer than IV ( Fig. 1W View Fig ); pronotum greyish yellow throughout, with a very small spot at base ( Fig. 1U View Fig ); elytra elongate, 1 large, broad, kidney-shaped, whitish yellow patch close to scutellum on either side of elytra, 1 small, suboval patch laterally in front of middle, 1 suboval, large, whitish yellow patch behind middle of elytra; elytral apex rounded ( Fig. 1T View Fig ); without any pale whitish spots or bands on lateral margins of abdominal segments ( Fig. 1R, S View Fig ). Legs densely pubscent, mesocoxal cavities closed ( Fig. 1S View Fig ), tarsal claws diverging by more than 90° ( Fig. 1X View Fig ). Median lobe little longer than median struts ( Fig. 3G View Fig ); medial part smaller than tegmen. Apex of median lobe rounded, smooth throughout ( Fig. 3I View Fig ). Ring portion of tegmen long ( Fig. 3G View Fig ); parameres almost united, basally broader, tips covered with small setae ( Fig. 3I View Fig ). Endophallus attached between bifurcated parts of median lobe, elongate ( Fig. 3H View Fig ).
