Genus Engytatus Reuter View in CoL
Type species: Engytatus modestus Reuter 1876:82 . Monotypic. Neoproba Distant 1884:270 (new genus, synonymy by Carvalho 1955:222); Cyrtopeltis Carvalho 1958:185 (catalog).
Diagnosis. Eyes located at median of head; calli inconspicuous or slightly delimited; pygophore with a bifurcate process ( Ferreira & Henry 2011).
Identification of the species of genus Engytatus of Espírito Santo.
Due to the problem of recognizing species of Engytatus based solely on external morphology, the identification was made by the diagnostic characters of male genitalia including differences in the pygophore projection and left paramere ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 ).
