Diagnosis. Large size (more than 8 mm); elongated and shiny body with a short, broad head; greatly reduced ostiolar peritreme. Hemelytron membrane with a single elongate cell; tarsi with large, fleshy, divergent pseudopulvilli weakly dilated or thickened.
