HOLOTYPE: AMNH 166327 About AMNH , adult male, collected on Loma Tina (5 Mount Tina), 18.46N, 70.42W ( Keith et al., 2003: 238), Dominican Republic (5 Santo Domingo), Hispaniola Island , West Indies , on 10 January 1917, by Rollo H. Beck on the BrewsterSanford Expedition (no. 6915). GoogleMaps
COMMENTS: The AMNH number of the holotype was cited in the original description. Griscom had two additional specimens ;
the paratypes are: Mount Rusilla, AMNH 166325, male, AMNH 166326, female, collected in February and March 1917, by Beck.
