460. Tivela isabelleana View in CoL (d´Orbigny, 1846)
Bathymetric distribution: 15–55 m —SW.
Geographical distribution: Brazil (ES) to Argentina (Golfo San Matias)—B/A.
Remarks: Dall (1891) described Meretrix (Eutivela) iheringi Dall, 1891 from Santa Catarina, Brazil, a species currently considered as a synonym of T. dentaria . As pointed out by Scarabino et al. (2016), the differences between T. dentaria ( Lamarck, 1818) and T. isabelleana have not been adequately characterized; so, we follow Scarabino et al. (2016) retaining T. isabelleana .
