Lectotype ('t Hart & Jarvis in Taxon 42: 403. 1993): Herb. Clifford: 176, Sedum 3 (BM-000628575) .

Current name: Sedum cepaea L. ( Crassulaceae ).

Note: See Fröderström (in Acta Horti Gothob. 7, Suppl.: 125, pl. LII, f. 1. 1931). 't Hart & Jarvis unfortunately erred in giving " Sedum 5", rather than the correct " Sedum 3" as the type, but as it is clearly the latter that is linked with the binomial, this is treated as a correctable error.
