Remarks.

The specimens presented here appear to be A. hyemala s. str. The statuses of the subspecies repressa Warncke, 1975 (Levant) and kushika Osytshnjuk, 1994 (Central Asia) require further study.

Distribution.

Andrena hyemala sensu lato is distributed from south-eastern Europe through the Middle East (including Iraq * and Iran) to Central Asia ( Gusenleitner and Schwarz 2002; Osytshnjuk et al. 2008; Wood and Monfared 2022).
