Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: NB, NS. USA: NH (NSR), RI, VA.
Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimens were found in sod, litter by marsh, litter along swamp margin, and in an old beaver pond area. Collected from April to October. In Canada recorded from various forest types and wetlands, usually in leaf litter. In mature red spruce and eastern white cedar forest in moss and litter near small brook, in red spruce dominated forest from pitfall traps, in grass and leaf litter in alder swamp, margin of beaver pond in leaf litter, small sedge marsh in moist grass litter, red oak forest from Lindgren funnel trap, and sifted from decaying mushrooms ( Klimaszewski et al. 2005a, 2006, 2018).
