Distribution. Nearctic, recorded from A/S ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: AB, BC, LB, MB, NB, NF, NS, NT, ON, QC, SK, YT. USA: AK, NH (NSR), WA.

Collection and Habitat data. In NH two specimens were taken by pitfall traps, and one specimen was found on common mullein. Adults were collected from June to July. In AK specimens were captured in various wet and mesic forests with Populus tremuloides , P. balsamifera , Betula papyrifera ; in mixed black and white spruce forest with open/boggy areas and dry zones, willow and bog birch rich meadow with Geranium erianthum D.C., Artemisia norvegica Fr. , Sanguisorba canadensis L.; under boards and driftwood; under rocks, dung, and wood in meadows ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021). In Canada recorded from predominantly wet habitats such as Carex and cattail marshes as well as silver maple floodplain forests; in drift material on a lake margin and salt flat; also, in deciduous forests (oak, birch, aspen), fir and conifer dominated forests, old silver maple swamp, coastal dunes and coastal barrens; some in gopher burrows and muskrat nests ( Webster et al. 2009, Klimaszewski et al. 2021).
