Distribution. Nearctic, transcontinental in Canada, recorded from A/S ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021).
Canada: BC, LB, MB, NB, NF, NS, ON, QC. USA: IL, MA, MD, ME, MI, NH, NY, RI.
Collection and Habitat data. In NH captured in alder litter, litter by stream, and Alnus litter and Sphagnum near pond. Collected in March and September in NH; collected in April–May in ME. In Canada found in wet forested biotypes such as black spruce bogs (usually in lag zone), alder swamps, spruce and eastern white cedar ( Thuja occidentalis L.) forests and swamps, vernal pond margins, and margins of small brooks under alders; in moist leaf litter and mosses in these habitats ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021).
