The NH specimens were captured by sifting rotten wood and forest litters, and by inspecting fungi. In Canada found in decaying gilled mushrooms or captured in pitfall traps in various coniferous, mixed and deciduous/hardwood types in late summer and fall; from pitfall traps in mature deciduous forest and successional conifer-dominated forests with white spruce ( Picea glauca (Moench) Voss , Abies balsamea (L.) Mill, and Betula papyrifera Marshall ); and in an old field next to a mixed forest ( Klimaszewski and Majka 2007, Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
