Distribution. Holarctic, recorded from A/S ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: AB, BC, LB, NB, NF, NS, ON, SK, YT. USA: AK, NH (NSR).

Collection and Habitat data. In NH captured in May and September/October in an old-growth boreal forest and 40-year-old boreal forest near the border with Quebec. Collected by flight intercept traps and sifted from birch and alder leaf litters. In AK found in a mesic Betula , Picea forest and near a creek ( Klimaszewski et al. 2021). In Canada found in moist leaves (often on muddy soils) near margins of vernal ponds or small brooks in alder swamps, mixed forests, northern hardwood forests, a coniferous forest, and a wet willow stand; also in drift material on a lakeshore, in moist leaves under a sap flow of yellow birch, and taken by treading vegetation in a seasonally flooded marsh on a pond margin; in AB found in a Douglas fir and lodgepole pine stand with aspen and birch understory ( Webster et al. 2009, Klimaszewski et al. 2021).
