Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: AB, MB, NB, NS, ON, QC. USA: CT, DC, ME, MI, NH (NSR), NY, PA, RI, VT, WV.

Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimens were collected by using flight intercept, Malaise, and window traps, and by sifting various leaf litters and rotten wood. Found in fern and pine litter on bog edge, oak/pine leaf litter, leaf litter at birch sap drip, and in Russula and other mushrooms. Collected from March to November in NH. In NB found in various coniferous and hardwood forest types, usually in decaying fungi such as gilled mushrooms and fleshy fungi on the forest floor; Also found in unbaited pitfall and flight intercept traps in yellow birch/balsam fir and red spruce forests ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
