Leonurus tataricus Linnaeus View in CoL , Species Plantarum 2: 584. 1753.

"Habitat in Tataria." RCN: 4265.

Lectotype (Krestovskaja in Novosti Sist. Vyssh. Rast. 27: 140. 1990): Herb. Linn. No. 739.5 ( LINN) .

Current name: Leonurus tataricus L. View in CoL ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Krestovskaja (in Bot. Zhurn. 73: 1748. 1988) noted the existence of Herb. Linn. No. 739.5 ( LINN), but did not refer to it as the type. She treats this as a distinct species, not as a synonym of L. cardiaca L. as has been done by some other authors.
