External morphology. Slender species. General color of dorsum black with numerous, small, yellow spots on veins of forewings, pronotum, crown and face, cells of forewings translucent ( Plate 2I). Head significantly narrower than pronotum, anterior margin acutely angulate; crown narrow, about ¼ as wide as width of eyes, produced distally to about ¼ of entire length, lateral margins carinate, disk depressed; eyes large, semiglobular; pronotum with median length as long as crown; mesonotum about as long as pronotum; forewings typical; clypeus elongate, very broad at base, narrowed at apex; clypellus about 1/3 as long as clypeus, very broad and inflated basally, lateral margins tapered distally and constricted medially.
Male genitalia. Pygofer in lateral view with 2 caudal processes, caudodorsal process moderately long lobe, small, digitate lobe below, caudoventral process long, slender, membranous ( Fig. 128); right subgenital plate long, narrow in basal half, enlarged subapically on outer lateral margin, sparsely setose ( Fig. 129); style very long, nearly as long as aedeagus, slender in distal 4/5 ( Figs. 130, 131); aedeagus very long, tubular, atypically slender, broadly convex in lateral view, apex armed with sharply point spine directed distally, gonopore subapical ( Figs. 132, 133); connective small, Y-shaped ( Fig. 134); dorsal connective simple, slender, attached basally to base of aedeagal socle ( Fig. 132).
Material examined. Holotype male. COLOMBIA: Huila, PNN Cueva de los Guacharos, Cabaña Cedros , 1º37’N.– 76º6’W., 2100 m., MKalaise 2/14/2002 – 2/18/2002, C. Cortes leg., M.3036 GoogleMaps . Paratypes, 3 males, same data as holotype ( IAHC, MLBM, UK) GoogleMaps .
Etymology. This species is named for the long style and long aedeagus.
Remarks. This species is nearest to G. membrana , sp. nov. and can be distinguished by the longer aedeagus and style and the configuration of the apical aedeagal spine.
