Gracilidia tubercula View in CoL , sp. nov.
( Plate 3B, Figs. 142–148)
Length. Male 7.50–8.00 mm; female unknown.
External morphology. Slender species. General color of dorsum dark brown to black with numerous yellow spots on veins of forewings, mesonotum, pronotum and crown, cells of forewings light brown, some with yellow spots; face black with numerous, small yellow markings ( Plate 3B). Head significantly narrower than pronotum, anterior margin acutely angulate; crown narrow, about ¼ as wide as width of eyes, produced distally about ¼ of its entire length; eyes large, semiglobular; pronotum about as long as median length of crown; mesonotum slightly longer than pronotum; forewings typical; clypeus long, broad at base, narrow at apex; clypellus short, about 1/3 as long as clypeus, very broad and inflated basally, lateral margins constricted.
Male genitalia. Pygofer in lateral view with 2 caudal processes, caudodorsal process short, lobed, apex curved, caudoventral process long, very slender, membranous, nearly reaching base of caudodorsal lobe, small lenticular lobe basad of caudodorsal lobe ( Fig. 142); right subgenital plate long, narrow, outer lateral margin expanded along distal 3/5 to 4/5, sparsely setose ( Fig. 143); style about as long as aedeagus, distal 3/5 very slender ( Figs. 144, 145); aedeagus long, tubular, dorsal margin inflated submedially in lateral view, apex slightly swollen, armed with short narrow spine directed caudally ( Figs. 146, 147); connective small, Y-shaped ( Fig. 148); dorsal connective not bifurcate basally, long, narrow, attached basally to base of aedeagal socle ( Fig. 146).

Paratypes. 2 males, same data as holotype ( MLBM) GoogleMaps , 2 males, same data as holotype ( UK) GoogleMaps , 2 males, same data as holotype ( IAHC) GoogleMaps , 1 male, same data as holotype except F. Fonseca, leg. ( IAHC) GoogleMaps , 1 male, same data as holotype except Alto el Mirador, 1º38’N.– 76º6’W., 1980 m., J. Fonseca, leg. ( IAHC) GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The name is descriptive for the inflated, submedial dorsal margin of the aedeagus.
Remarks. T his species is closest to G. uniflangata , sp. nov. and can be distinguished by the presence of the lenticular lobe on the pygofer, configuration of the distal 1/3 of the subgenital plate and aedeagus.
