Comments.

The original description is inadequate for determining the genus to which this species belongs. All that remains of the holotype specimen of H. nigricoxa is a slide mounted fore wing. The body of the holotype was examined by Mineo (1990b), who considered it to be close to Gryon letus . This forms our basis for transferring the species to Hadronotus .
