Habitat. In amongst dead coral, algae, in shallow waters ( Álvarez-Campos et al. 2015a).
Distribution. Australia (Western Australia, Queensland; Álvarez-Campos e t al. 2015a), Japan, Indonesia ( Aguado et al. 2008). First record for East Timor.
