Hristov (in Naumova et al. 2016 as T. veteranica , misidentification) .

Comparative material examined: T. tristis , 1 ♂, Central Stara Planina Mts : Kamenitsa village, N42.5955°, E23.9352°, 646 m a.s.l., 14.06.2016, lgt M. Naumova, T. veteranica , 1 ♂, Ihtiman plain, N 42.4127 ˚, E 23.7917 ˚, 637 m a.s.l., 09.08.2001, lgt P. Kalushkov ( Kalushkov et al. 2008) .

Distribution in Bulgaria: Strandzha Mts, South Black Sea coast: Ropotamo Reserve (present paper), Black Sea coast: Cape Emine (present paper).

Global distribution: Iran, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Russia. In the Balkans this species was reported only from Greece (7 ♂, Kavala, Schroder et al. 2011). The report from Albania extends the species range westward and together with the Bulgarian records shows that the species has a wider distribution in the Balkans.
