Ecology. Shelf species, collected at depths between 70 ( Peña Cantero 2008) and 135 m ( Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2009). Epibiotic on hydroids ( Peña Cantero 2008) and gorgonians ( Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2009). Gonothecae: February ( Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2009).

Distribution. West Antarctic: only known from off Low Island ( Blanco 1977a; Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2009) and the north of Livingston Island, in the South Shetland Islands ( Peña Cantero 2008).
