Type material (not examined). Holotype ♂ ( IZCAS-Ar44392 ) (LB172), CHINA: Guangdong Province: Qingyuan City, Yangshan County, Shuikou Ancient Town , Pindong Village , 24.3987ºN, 112.7433ºE, elevation: 553 m, 8.Ⅰ.2019, Z. Zhao and Z. Chen leg.

Material examined. ♂ ( CBEE), CHINA: Guangdong Province: Qingyuan City, Bijia Mountain , 23.7703N, 113.0361E, elevation: 145 m, 15.XII.2023, local collector leg .

Diagnosis. Males of Baiyuerius pindong most resemble those of B. daxi and differ from other zuojiang -group species. See diagnosis of B. daxi for detailed statement.

Female. Unknown.

Distribution. China ( Guangdong Province).
