Distribution. Bolivia, Brazil (Maranhão, Pernambuco, Paraíba, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo), Colombia, Venezuela ( Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). New species to Ceará State, Brazil.

Species diagnosis. Tegument covered by yellow pubescence; elytra with uniform pubescence interrupted by moderately sparse, glabrous punctures ( Martins & Galileo 1998).
