Worker. Length 2 lines.-Pale ferruginous: abdomen dark rufo-piceous, with the base palest; in some examples the colour is pale brown; antennae longer than the body; head ovate, narrowed behind, and wider than the thorax; the eyes black and prominent. Thorax elongate, compressed, the prothorax narrowed into a slender neck; legs very much elongated, the posterior pair one-third longer than the insect, the tibiae and tarsi pale testaceous. The abdominal scale incrassate, rounded in front and truncate behind; the abdomen short and ovate.
