Diagnosis. O. obtusa dejeani is almost identical to the nominate subspecies on wing pattern and genitalia. The only difference lies in the lateral processes on the posterior margin of sternite 8, which are gradually pointed in O. obtusa obtusa , are much broader and more expanded in O. obtusa dejeani .
Distribution. China (Hainan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Tibet).
Remarks. From the collection data, two colour forms of O. obtusa dejeani are both active from May to August and sympatric. O. sinuata and the holotype and allotype of O. asignis are respectively identical to the yellow and brown form of O. obtusa dejeani on both wing pattern and genital characters, and are consequently synonymized herein. One paratype of O. asignis from Sangang, Fujian belongs to O. pavaca sinensis . Taking in account of very small differences from Oreta obtusa obtusa , the taxonomic separation of Oreta obtusa dejeani is somewhat questionable.
