Material examined. Holotype female, Packers Creek, Iron Range NP, Queenland, Australia, 9-ix-2000 (QM).

Diagnosis. Suture line of Cx-3/4 perpendicularly to median suture line, Cxgl4 posterior of suture line Cx-3/4.

Description. Female: Idiosoma 985 long and 697 wide, anterior margin rounded. Suture line of Cx-1/2 complete, other suture lines incomplete, not reaching lateral coxal margin. Cx-2/3 ending posterior of median fusion point of Cx-1/2. Cx-3/4 perpendicularly to media suture line. L1 and L2 close to each other, located rather anteriorly at level of Cx-3. Cxgl4 located posterior of suture line of Cx-3/4. Genital field 251 wide, genital plates with appoximately 30 acetabula (not all visible in illustration). Lengths of PI-PV: 36, 76, 48, 114, 34; PIV setose. Lengths of I-leg-4-6: 90, 104, 102. Lengths of IV-leg-4-6: 124, 134, 120. Swimming setae (number in brackets) on II-leg4 (1), II-leg-5 (4), III-leg-4 (4), III-leg-5 (4) and IV-leg-4 (1 short seta).

Male: Unknown.

Etymology. Named after Iron Range National park.

Remarks. The combination of the suture lines of Cx-3/4 perpendicularly to the median suture line and Cxgl4 posterior of this suture line is not found in any other member of the subgenus Albiella .
