small projections; saccus broad; left and right valva asymmetrical distally; aedeagus with suprazonal sheath prominently shorter than subzonal sheath; juxta V-shaped.

Distribution
China (Yunnan), India ( Swinhoe, 1893; Evans, 1949), Thailand ( Pinratana, 1985), Vietnam ( Evans, 1949; Devyatkin & Monastyrskii, 1999; Miyazaki et al., 2007), Malaysia ( Evans, 1949; Eliot, 1992).
Remarks
The species closely resembles S. cephala from Vietnam, but without a rectangular spot in space CuA2, so that the examination of male genitalia is necessary to ensure definitive identification. This is the first report of the species from China.
