Heterogenella minuta View in CoL , the smallest species of the genus Heterogenella Mamaev, 1963 View in CoL , was previously known from only five specimens (see Jaschhof & Jaschhof 2009). Four more specimens, from four different localities, are reported here from Sweden.
Previous distribution. Germany, Russia (Europe). Occurrence in Sweden: Skåne, Öland, Uppland.

Jaschhof; male (CEC230), Älvkarleby, Båtfors, blueberry pine forest, 17 June–3 July 2003, Malaise trap, SMTP (trap 7, collecting event 378); male (CEC231), Uppland, Uppsala, Fiby NR, swampy old-growth taiga , 9 June–23 July 2010, Malaise trap, M. & C. Jaschhof.
