Type Locality: " Söul " [Seoul], Korea.
Vernacular Names: Korean Hare.
Distribution: Korea; S Kirin, S Liaoning, E Heilungjiang ( China).
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: Subgenus Eulagos ( Averianov, 1998) . Formerly included in sinensis ( Corbet, 1978 c) or in brachyurus ( Kim and Kim, 1974) ; here considered distinct, following Flux and Angermann (1990) and Jones and Johnson (1965).
