Distribution. China (Henan and Sichuan) ( Fig. 125 View FIGURE 125 ).

Material examined. Holotype, Henan: ♀, Luanchuan (33°81′N, 111°06′E), 13.07.1996, Ju Wen leg.; non-type material: 1 ♀, Baotianman, Neixiang (33°05′N, 111°83′E), 12.07.1998, Wei Xiao leg.; 1 ♀, Yugong Forestry Farm, Jiyuan (35°08′N, 112°16′E, alt. 1700m), 0 5.06.2000, Meicai Wei leg.; 1 ♀, Baotianman, Neixiang (33°05′N, 111°83′E, alt. 1300–1400 m), 24.07.2004, Shaobin Zhang leg.; 1 ♀, Mt. Baiyun, Songxian (34°15′N, 112°06′E, alt. 1500 m), 24.07.2003, Mingwen Liang leg.; 1 ♀, Mt. Discussion. This species is similar to P. nitididorsata and P. chenghanhuai , and may be distinguished as follows ( P. nitididorsata and P. chenghanhuai in parentheses): clypeus dark brown (clypeus completely yellowwhite); mesoscutellum with sharp lateral carina (mesoscutellum with blunt lateral carina); fore and middle coxae black, hind coxa with large black stripe (fore and middle coxae white, hind coxa with small black stripe). Except for the serrulae, reliable morphological differences between these three species were not found.
