Loreto: Alto Amazonas , rainforest on lower northwest slopes of Cerros Campanquiz , Rio Marañón , just above Pongo de Manseriche , 250-350 m elevation, 17 October 1962, J.J. Wurdack 2320 (holotype US!, isotype USM!) .
