Diagnosis. This species is characterized by the two occipital spines and a median frontal spines on the head and the biseriate paranota.
Etymology. This new species is named in honor of Jérôme Constant (IRScNB, Belgium), who provided many of the Vietnamese specimens studied by the authors.
Comments. The habitus of this new species is similar to the type species C. physalia Drake & Ruhoff , but differs by the presence of two occipital spines and a median frontal spine on head, the paranota are biseriate with an outer row of large quadrate areolae and an inner row of smaller areolae. Cetiothucha physalia is known from Sabah and Sarawak.
