Gomphonema brebissonii Kützing ( Figs 22–24 )

Length: 20–34 μm, breadth: 6.7–8.0 μm, striae: 12 in 10 μm. Morphology and measurements of the Lake Baikal populations studied here correspond well with description of this species given by Reichard (1999) and those of the type material studied recently by Mitić- Kopanja et al. (2014).
