D i s t r i b u t i o n: Moyen-Ogooué: Samkita. Sjostedtiella pulchella is recorded from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Rwanda, South Africa and Tanzania. SEYRIG (1938: 18) recorded Sjostedtiella pulchella from Gabon ("Sam-Quito"), but BENOIT (1952: 57) cites this locality as San Benito, which is actually situated in Equatorial Guinea ( Mbini). I suppose the real name is Samkita, a village on the river Ogooué in the province of Moyen-Ogooué.
