Historic records:

— Angola (without locality) ( Paulino de Oliveira 1882 sub C etonia picturata Boh. ).

Material examined: Angola, 1 ♀, Nº 1907 (blue label) and 139 (white label), old collection, box XIV-83, MZUC .

Remarks. The distribution of this species is not consensual. While Paulino de Oliveira (1882) recorded it to Angola and Holm & Marais (1992) to Botswana and Republic of South Africa, Schoolmeesters (2018) cites it to Tanzania also, but Beinhundner (2017a) only refers Namibia. There is one adult female specimen of Angola ( Fig. 5b ) deposited in the “old collection” of MZUC which confirms its presence in this country. Some ecological data were provided by Holm & Marais (1992).
