Diagnosis. Body length 7.0– 8.2 mm; propleuron with pubescent area posteriorly projected over lateral margin, posterior margin slightly concave medially; mesosternum without longitudinal row of golden setae next to mesosternal carina; mesosternal carina: anterior projection poorly developed, region between anterior projection and fossa distinctly concave, fossa poorly developed, open and shallow, rounded, with short golden setae; metasternal carina: poorly developed, without fossa; embolium triangular; lateral margins of abdominal segments weakly serrated, posterolateral angles without spines ( Rodrigues 2018).
Comment. This species was described and known only from “ Brazil ”, until Sites (2022) recorded material from MG.
