Measurements of holotype: prodorsum: length 469, width 364, height 151, sensilli 90.9, setae: interlamellar 50.5, lamellar 80.8, rostral 95.9, exobothridial 55.5; notogaster: length 949, width 606, height 656, setae: c 1 146, h 1 101, ps 1 106; genital and aggenital plates 191 x 75.7, anal and adanal plates 404 x 75.7.
Colour brown. Integument densely punctate.
Prodorsum with two pairs of long, widely separated lateral carinae. Sensilli rigid, short, smooth, tapering. Interlamellar setae erect, curved posteriorly, lamellar setae of medium, rostral setae the longest, ro> sens> le> ex> in.
Notogastral setae simple, fine, short, c 1 <c 1 –d 1. Setae of row c remote from anterior margin. Opening of opisthosomal gland, arrangement of lyrifissures and vestigial setae typical of genus.
Ventral region. Setae h of mentum longer than distance between them. Anogenital cleft trv rather long. Nine pairs of genital and two pairs of very short aggenital setae, present. Arrangement of genital setae: 5:4. One pair of anal and three pairs of adanal setae present. Lyrifissures iad situated between and laterally of setae ad 2 and ad 3.
Chaetome of legs (without tarsi): I: 145(2)5(1); II: 145(1)5(1); III: 323(1)3(1); IV 32 2(1)3(1). Tarsi heterotridactylous.
Type
Holotype: Uzbekistan, Tashkentskaja obl. , Bastandyshky rn, near Sidzhak, 1000–1300 m, deciduous forest, 06 X 1976, leg. A. Druk; one paratype: Uzbekistan, Dzhungarsky AlaTal, decidous forest, leg M.S. Ghilarov; one paratype: Russia, Irkutskaja obl., Ilimek rn, VIII 1960, leg. A.C. Vershinin. Types deposited in DATE.
Etymology The name of new species refers to the type locality in Uzbekistan where the holotype was found.
Comparison
The new species is distinguishable by the combination of two pairs of lateral carinae of prodorsum, curved interlamellar setae and very short genital and aggenital setae. It is similar to O. baicalica sp. nov. and O. nepalensis Niedbała, 2000 . but O. baicalica has seven pairs of genital setae and two pairs of anal setae and O. nepalensis has a different shape of interlamellar setae and lateral carinae of prodorsum as well only eight pairs of longer genital setae.
Distribution Palaearctic, Central and Eastern Asia.
Oribotritia turcica sp. nov.
