Material examined. Holotype (Ƥ) and paratype (1 Ƥ) of D. pyrillivorus : India, Tamil Nadu, Cuddalore, 15.IX.1975, ex Pyrilla sp., B. Velayutham coll., holotype [ BMNH]; Philippines, Mindanao Island, Mt. Apo, Todaya Plateau, paratype [ MCZ]. China: Guangdong: Ruyuan, Nanling National Nature Reserve, 1–6.X.2004, Zaifu Xu coll., 1 Ƥ [ ZJUC]; Dinghushan National Nature Reserve, 2–6.VIII.2010, Huayan Chen coll., 1 Ƥ [ SCAU].
Hosts. Lophopidae ( Guglielmino & Olmi 1997) : in India: Pyrilla sp.; in Sri Lanka: Pyrilla perpusilla (Walker) .
Distribution. Oriental. China: Zhejiang, Guangdong ( Olmi 1993b; He & Xu 2002); Philippines, Brunei, India ( Olmi 1986, 1993), Japan: Ryukyu Islands ( Mita 2009b).
