40. Oedipoda fuscocincta Lucas, 1849

Uvarov (1936) divided the species O. fuscocincta Lucas,1849 into four subspecies: O. f fuscocincta Lucas, 1849 ; O. f sicula Fieber, 1893; O. f coerulea Saussure, 1884 and O. f coelestina Uvarov 1923. Of these, O. f

fuscocincta and O. f coelestina have been reported from Cyrenaica ( Libya) by Zanon (1924) and Uvarov (1923) respectively. O. f coelestina is recorded for the first time from Fezzan, Libya.
