Habitus Fig. 13. Length 0.70 mm. Colour dusky yellow, antennae and legs paler yellow. Antennomeres 3–11 Fig. 54 View FIGURES 41 – 55 . Head pubescence very long (as Fig.61 View FIGURES 56 – 61 ). Pronotum 0.21 mm long, 0.31 mm wide, lateral margins angled, the angle marked by a faint tooth Fig. 75 View FIGURES 62 – 76 , pubescence very long, +/- one third the length of the pronotum, +/- 7 punctures between anterior and posterior margins. Elytra 0.53 mm long, 0.43 mm wide, more finely punctured than pronotum, pubescence as pronotum.

Male: not known

Etymology. This epithet is taken from the Latin adjective pilosum , meaning hairy, and refers to the long pubescence present on the head, pronotum and elytra of this species.

Remarks. Distinguishable by the long pubescence and the form of the spermatheca which is smaller than all others studied.

Type data. Holotype: ♀, Ranomafana N.P., RNF/16/2011, sifting litter, Winkler app. extr., S.21˚14’57.9’’ E.47˚24’22.9’’, 1138 m, 16.iv.2011, L.S.Rahanitriniaina & R.Raveloson (BMNH).
