Type locality. Algeria .

Range. Palearctic, Mediterranean. Known from Algeria and from the Balkans to Greece, through Bulgaria to Turkey (Chvála, 2013; Evenhuis & Pape, 2023).

New records. A single male was collected from a Malaise trap by local collector on Lesvos Island, north of Agiásos, 450 m a.s.l., in early May (new record for Northern Aegean islands).
