Paracarystus ranka ( Evans, 1955) , new combination
Named by Evans (1955) in Thoon Godman, 1900 ( type species Proteides modius Mabille, 1889 ), ranka is not monophyletic with it and instead groups closely with all three known species of Paracarystus Godman, 1900 ( type species Cobalus hypargyra Herrich-Schäffer, 1869 ) ( Fig. 13 View Figure 13 ), where it is placed to form Paracarystus ranka ( Evans, 1955) , new combination.
