Diagnosis. SIF = 7BS-B-3-2111.1000; fPp = B/B/BBB; fCx = 1.1.1; fSt = 2.2; fSc: PL> AL> AM; Ip = 842–1026; DS = 70–104; VS = 53–93; NDV = 143–186. Standard measurements of 10 specimens from Turkey are given in Table 4 .

Type material deposition. Holotype and main part of paratypes currently in the private collection of M. Daniel, label Afg 48/1; in future, will be deposited in IPASCR. One paratype in ZMMU.

Type material examined. Holotype larva and one paratype larva (ZMMU) ex Apodemus flavicollis , ALBA- NIA: Vlorë County, Qafa e Llogorasë (Llogora Pass) (40° 12' N 19° 35' E), 1050 m a.s.l., 12 May 1958, coll. M. Daniel. GoogleMaps

Material from Turkey examined. 14 larvae (ZISP) ex Apodemus flavicollis , Antalya Prov., 7 km NE from Arif (Arikanda), 1364 m a.s.l., 28 April 2009, coll. AAS .

Hosts. Chionomys gud (Satunin) , Ch. roberti (Thomas) , Cricetulus migratorius (Pallas) , Microtus agrestis (L.), M. daghestanicus (Shidlovsky) , M. majori Thomas , Apodemus agrarius (Pallas) , A. flavicollis (Melchior) , A. ponticus (Sviridenko) , A. uralensis (Pallas) , Garrulus glandarius (L.).

Distribution. France, Albania, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Russia (Krasnodarskiy Krai, Stavropolskiy Krai, Kabardino- Balkaria, North Ossetia, Dagestan), Turkey, Georgia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia. Previous records from Turkey: Kavaklidere, Ulubey, Meryemana ( Kepka, 1966).
