Material from Turkey examined. 24 larvae (ZISP) ex Chionomys nivalis , Antalya Prov., 6 km SWW from Kizlarsivrisi Mt , 2135 m a.s.l., 26 April 2009, coll. AAS ; 4 larvae (ZISP) ex Microtus schidlovskii , Adana Prov., 2 km N from Karanfil Mt , 2135 m a.s.l., 2 May 2009, coll. AAS .

Hosts. Alticola argentatus (Severtzov) , Chionomys gud (Satunin) , Ch. nivalis (Martins) , Microtus schidlovskii Argyropulo , Apodemus (Sylvaemus) sp., Rattus turkestanicus (Satunin) , Ochotona macrotis (Günther) .

Distribution. Tajikistan, Russia (Dagestan). This species is here recorded from Turkey for the first time.

Remarks. Kepka’s material from Meryemana identified as “ Neotrombicula autumnalis autumnalis ”, judging from the measurements ( Kepka 1966), probably belong to N. turkestanica .
