( Figs. 64, 65)

Schoutedenichia (Schoutedenichia) thracica Kolebinova, 1966: 677 , figs. 7–12; 1992: 140, fig. 70.

Diagnosis. SIF = 4B-B-3-2110.0000; fPp = B/B/BNB; fCx = 1.1.1; fSt = 2.?; fSc: PL> AM> AL; Ip = 749–792; fD = 2H-(12–16)-(14–20)-(11–17)-(12–20)-…; DS = 77–105; VS = 93–118; NDV = 180–220. Posterior sternal setae are not separated from ventral setae. Standard measurements of specimens from Turkey are given in Table 32.

Type material (not examined). Holotype is deposited in ZISB; type locality is Stara-Zagora in Bulgaria.

Material from Turkey examined. 13 larvae (ZISP) ex Apodemus flavicollis and A. mystacinus , Çorum Prov., 1.7 km E from Bogazkale, near Yazılıkaya, 1190 m a.s.l., 26 October 1969, coll. M. Daniel; 23 larvae (ZISP) ex Microtus schidlovskii , Antalya Prov., 6 km W from Kizlarsivrisi Mt, 1727 m a.s.l., 25 April 2009, coll. AAS; 2 larvae (ZISP) ex Chionomys nivalis and A. witherbyi , Adana Prov., 3.5 km W from Karanfil Mt, 1709 m a.s.l., 1 May 2009, coll. AAS.

Hosts. Apodemus mystacinus (Danford and Alston) , A. sylvaticus (L.), and Crocidura suaveolens (Pallas) plus Chionomys nivalis (Martins) , Microtus schidlovskii Argyropulo , Apodemus flavicollis (Melchior) , and A. witherbyi Thomas.

Distribution. Bulgaria. This species is here recorded from Turkey for the first time.

Remarks. The legs lengths in this species, according to published data ( Kolebinova 1992), are lesser than those in our material (Ip 636–731 vs. 749–792). This difference is undoubtedly resulted from the fact that Kolebinova measured legs without coxae ( Stekolnikov 2001d). It is proved by the comparison of the lengths of tarsus III. The tarsus III length according figure 5 in the cited redescription (68 µm) is in good agreement with our data (67–72).
