Diagnosis. SIF = 4(5)B-N-3-2(1)1(0)1(0)0.0000; fsp = 7.6.6; fPp = N/N/NNN (usually). Scutum pentagonal; AM seta absent. Sensilla clavate to globose.
Hosts. Mammals.
Distribution. Africa, Asia (south to 45° N), Australia, North America (1 species).
Species included. More than 80 ( Kudryashova 1998).
